About The Position

Accenture's Sourcing & Procurement team helps clients achieve significant cost reductions, strategic category management, and improved procurement operations. The role involves working with clients to develop strategies and operating models to advance their procurement capabilities and drive financial impact. Consultants use data skills to implement strategies that enhance value and performance from clients’ supply base, establish strategic procurement category plans, and ensure long-term value. The position requires strong communication skills to convey ideas and ensure quick implementation. It's an opportunity to work in a digitally compassionate and innovation-led environment, helping clients transition to new technologies and solve complex challenges, including identifying cost and environmental impact reduction opportunities and proposing solutions for soaring prices and longer lead times. Consultants provide foundational analyses and recommendations for client decision-making on sourcing and procurement strategies.

Requirements

Minimum of 2.5 years of experience executing Strategic Sourcing projects/programs
Minimum 2.5 years of experience developing and executing cost optimization strategies
Strong acumen surrounding problem solving and data analytics tools (e.g. Excel, Alteryx, SQL, R, Power BI); experience developing complex models with advanced functions; demonstrated ability to structure data, check and “QA” models, and build executive-ready dashboards and summaries
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If associate degree, must have a minimum of 6 years’ work experience)

Nice To Haves

Management consulting experience with a well-regarded firm (strongly preferred)

Earned an MBA or equivalent graduate degree

Responsibilities

Solving challenging problems and applying creativity and innovation
Creating robust sourcing strategies and cost-out recommendations
Driving category insights, analysis and benchmarking
Building and reviewing robust analytics models via Excel, Alteryx, SQL
Synthesizing disparate data sources into insights and clear deliverables
Working with clients to identify and interpret key project requirements
Nurturing relationships with client stakeholders
Facilitating development of project plans and overall project management to ensure effective delivery of client project work and client deliverables
Developing presentations and key deliverables to support decision making
Communicating findings and recommendations to internal teams and client stakeholders
Achieving excellence and dependability through the execution of projects and initiatives
