Sourcing Manager
About The Position
This role helps lead sourcing strategies that support Private Brand growth and operational excellence. Daily work includes negotiating pricing with suppliers, managing supplier relationships, and driving category goals through fact-based decision making. Your contributions influence cost efficiencies, product quality, and overall sourcing performance. The position also supports supplier onboarding, production planning, and cross-functional alignment to meet seasonal timelines. Responsibilities include analyzing KPIs, import PO placement, supplier/factory set ups, mitigating risks, and supporting both upstream and downstream partners. Through this work, you help ensure timely delivery, strong supplier performance, and best-in-class sourcing practices. This role works closely with Merchants, Suppliers, Production, and cross-functional partners to support sourcing strategies and operational goals. Collaboration includes partnering with logistics, quality teams, and internal stakeholders to maintain accuracy, timeliness, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of sourcing, product development, buying, planning, or production management experience
- Experience leading sourcing project initiatives
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to analyze complex problems and make effective decisions
- Knowledge of cost modeling, quality assurance, import logistics, customs, and factory compliance
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; advanced Excel and PowerPoint preferred
- Ability to develop and execute strategic category goals
- A team-first attitude
- Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties
- Ability to adhere to company policies and professional standards
