About The Position

We are seeking a Sourcing Manager (contractor) for Indirect Materials with a strong background in procurement, sourcing and supplier management in support of indirect procurement categories such IT, SaaS, Consulting, and other relevant spend to join our Global Supply Chain Team. The Sourcing Manager contractor will be responsible for optimizing enterprise software expenditures, drive the end-to-end purchasing process, leading commercial negotiations, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring software licenses and subscriptions meet business requirements. This candidate will work with cross-functional teams and will play a key role in supporting organizational success in deploying supply chain management best practices and spend control. Requirements

  • 5+ years of strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management experience, with a heavy emphasis on software and technology.
  • Deep understanding of software licensing models, cloud consumption pricing, and commercial levers.
  • Proven ability to drive complex negotiations and secure cost-effective agreements while mitigating corporate and legal risks.
  • Excellent executive-level communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Familiarity with procurement and sourcing tools (e.g., Oracle, Ariba, Coupa, or SAP) and software asset management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead RFx processes, competitive bidding, and vendor evaluations for enterprise software, cloud subscriptions (SaaS/PaaS/IaaS), and AI/LLM infrastructure.
  • Structure and negotiate favorable commercial terms, pricing structures, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and Master Service Agreements (MSAs).
  • Collaborate with IT, Engineering, Legal, Security, and Finance teams to ensure software roadmaps and vendor capabilities align with enterprise objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for baseline cost reductions, cost avoidance, and software license consolidation.
  • Oversee the full contract lifecycle from execution to renewals and terminations, proactively managing renewal cadences.
  • Lead supplier business reviews, monitor SLA compliance, and evaluate supplier performance to ensure continuous value and innovation.
  • Maintain benchmark data, track software licensing metrics (e.g., consumption models, seat-based pricing), and analyze supply market trends.
