Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
Build 2+ years of experience in data analytics
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret large data sets and translate insights into actionable sourcing recommendations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word) and strong data‑handling skills; advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas) required.
Demonstrated ability in organization, time management, prioritization, and meeting deadlines across multiple concurrent tasks.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams, suppliers, and all levels of management.
Commitment to continuous improvement, data accuracy, and high‑quality support of sourcing processes.
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain strong attention to detail.
Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to contribute collaboratively and support broader sourcing initiatives.
NB: Successful candidates will be required to provide photo ID, banking details, a valid SIN number, and (if applicable) a valid work permit.

Nice To Haves

Experience with data visualization or analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Own and optimize the monthly demand database to support strategic decision‑making and long‑range sourcing plans.
Build and maintain advanced forecasting models, cost breakdowns, and tracking tools to support internal decision-making.
Demand tracking and data management, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely updates to support sourcing activities.
Vendor onboarding and item creation, including data setup, validation, and coordination with cross‑functional teams.
Price updates and system maintenance, ensuring pricing changes are accurately reflected across ERP systems and aligned with supplier agreements.
KPI dashboards and reporting, developing and maintaining visual reporting tools to support data‑driven decision‑making.
Conduct spend analysis and consolidation to identify opportunities for cost savings, supplier optimization, and category strategies.
Provide global data analyst support, enabling harmonized processes, shared tools, and data consistency across regions.
Perform pricing analysis to assess cost drivers, evaluate supplier quotes, and support negotiation strategies..
Work with Accounts Payable to manage price and volume discrepancies in invoices and ensure Ya YA’s suppliers are paid on time and the correct amount.
Manage sourcing-related projects to ensure alignment between price changes from suppliers to Ya YA with the pricing schedule with our customers.
Work with Accounts Receivable to manage and lead the collection of all supplier volume rebates.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across sourcing processes, digital tools, analytics, and reporting frameworks.
Compliance with all rules & policies regarding health safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety, legal regulations, company requirements, etc.
Compliance with the Company's Integrated Management Systems which includes, but is not limited to Production, Quality, Food Safety & GMP.
Other duties as assigned.
