About The Position

The Sourcing Coordinator, reporting to the Sourcing Manager, is responsible for locating medical parts through various research methods. This role involves securing information such as pricing, availability, and warranties for medical parts through diverse communication channels. The position requires interacting frequently with internal PartsSource personnel and external suppliers, utilizing independent judgment, time management, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to meet departmental KPIs and follow established processes.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Biomed/Imaging parts and systems
• Minimum 2 years customer service experience
• High School diploma or GED required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel

Responsibilities

• Searches for medical parts using a set list of requirements
• Conducts low-level supplier negotiations
• Performs online data research using Google and other associated websites to understand and communicate gathered information to the customer care team
• Handles low-level issue resolution, data entry, and multi-tasking
• Translates Customer Care Rep's needs to suppliers
• Relays information to the Catalog team to improve catalog content
• Gathers supplier information, updates, and other changes
• Interacts frequently with a variety of PS personnel and outside suppliers
• Meets and maintains departmental KPIs
• Follows departmental processes and requirements
• Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs
