About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sourcing Category Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier relationship management. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent analytical abilities and a deep understanding of market dynamics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of market dynamics, industry trends, and best practices in sourcing and procurement.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in sourcing and procurement software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive category strategies to optimize cost, quality, and service levels.
• Conduct market analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and risks within assigned categories.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with overall business objectives.
• Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sourcing processes and achieve cost savings.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and drive accountability.
