We are searching for talented and passionate people who want to help shape the future of veterinary care. We’re looking for a Sourcing and Recruiting Lead to help us attract, engage, and hire exceptional talent at Vetcove. You’ll be the engine driving our recruiting and sourcing strategy — from uncovering hard-to-find candidates to guiding them through the process and ensuring a world-class candidate experience. In this role, you’ll partner closely with leadership, the cofounders, and hiring managers to build an effective and scalable hiring pipeline. You’ll lead sourcing initiatives, refine recruiting processes, and mentor a small but mighty team focused on filling our most critical roles.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 3+ years of recruiting experience
  • Proven success sourcing and closing candidates for technical and non-technical
  • Strong track record in fast-paced, scaling environments
  • Expertise in building and optimizing recruiting pipelines and processes
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with executives and hiring managers
  • Proficiency with ATS systems and technical sourcing tools
  • Highly analytical with a bias toward action and iteration
  • Comfortable working in an environment with evolving priorities and ambiguity

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve our recruiting strategy across all teams
  • Partner with leadership and hiring managers to deeply understand needs and design targeted hiring plans
  • Build and maintain proactive sourcing pipelines for both active and passive candidates
  • Implement creative, data-driven sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill positions
  • Track and report recruiting metrics, ensuring clear visibility into pipeline health and performance
  • Optimize and manage recruiting tools and systems (e.g., ATS, sourcing platforms).
  • Champion the candidate experience, from first touch to offer close
  • Contribute to employer branding efforts to elevate our presence in the technical talent market
