About The Position

The Sound Editor is a person who performs tasks that use methods, applications, systems, services, tools, and equipment to acquire, gather, record, create, generate, edit, synchronize, conform, and spatialize audio files, assets and metadata used in a sound mix. They may modify sound and video sources, assets, audio files related but not limited to any sound type. This may include music selecting, creating, modifying, combining, spatializing, organizing, conforming, and syncing-to-picture. They may also conform or edit video in a diminished capacity.

Requirements

• Proficiency with methods, applications, systems, services, tools, and equipment for audio editing.
• Ability to modify sound and video sources, assets, and audio files.
• Skill in music selection, creation, modification, combination, spatialization, organization, conformation, and syncing-to-picture.
• Capacity to conform or edit video.

Responsibilities
