Requirements
- 1-2 years
- Previous welding experience.
- Post-secondary education or related experience.
- Technical school.
Responsibilities
- Ability to weld joints with minimum supervision.
- Able to work alone.
- Working written/verbal communication skills (English/French)
- Repairing defective weld using the needed tools.
- Team player, ability to adapt to shift work and may be long hours.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Physically fit and are safety conscious.
- Must be able to lift packages up to 50 pounds.
- No skin or breathing allergies.
- Reading blueprints for location, position, and dimension.
- Organizing and assembling parts.
- Weld structures and parts together, to ensure leakproof joints.
- Examine job, weak spots, and defective section so that they can be repaired.
- Shape and fabricate parts.
- Clean job, using scrapers, wire brushes and cleaning solvents.
