About The Position
This position is responsible for receiving, sorting, pricing, and preparing donated items for display in the store. The role involves determining the suitability and pricing of items based on established standards and assisting in maintaining the orderliness and cleanliness of the store and sorting room area.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- One year of experience working in a warehouse preferred
- Any equivalent combination of training and experience providing the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Ability to lift, bend, reach, twist, push, pull, and carry light to heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)

Responsibilities
- Receives, inspects, and sorts donated items such as clothes, shoes, household items, bric-a-brac, etc., according to the category and condition.
- Selects items suitable for store display and distributes the same to the appropriate area for further sorting and/or pricing.
- Discards items in accordance with established procedures.
- Tags items with specially coded tickets and/or prices in accordance with established procedures.
- Hangs clothes on hangers and places them on clothes racks.
- Cleans all display racks and shelves.
- Sweeps and mops floor, cleans windows and mirrors, ensures that the store is maintained in a clean and inviting manner.
