This position is responsible for serving as the lead worker to all sorting room workers and community service workers, training and instructing employees, answering questions, and informing the supervisor of any issues. The role involves receiving, inspecting, and sorting donated items, selecting items for store display, discarding unsuitable items, tagging and pricing items, hanging clothes, packing boxes, and preparing clothes for the bailer. Additionally, the position requires maintaining the warehouse and store in a neat and orderly manner, cleaning floors, tables, work areas, display racks, shelves, windows, and mirrors, and ensuring the store is clean and inviting. Other responsibilities include inspecting donated items, acting as backup to the Truck Driver, answering the phone to assist customers, assisting customers with carrying items, and performing other assigned duties.
