About The Position

SWD Inc. is seeking a full-time, entry-level Sorting Machine Operator for the 3rd Shift. This position operates Monday-Friday from 11 pm to 7 am, with potential overtime on weekends as needed. The role involves operating and monitoring sorting machines, ensuring correct output, and maintaining a clean work area. Training is provided for this role.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 40lbs
• Must be available to work weekends

Nice To Haves

• GED or High School Diploma (preferred not required)
• Manufacturing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Comprehend shop order instructions.
• Perform sample testing as required.
• Use a digital caliper.
• Determine if the machine output is correct.
• Keep assigned machines and work area clean.
• Use a recess penetration gauge.
• Be able to recognize under and over-feeding of parts.
• Understand basic machine functions.
• Drive a lift truck.
