About The Position

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Industrial Sorter to join our production team. The Sorter is responsible for inspecting, sorting, and separating materials or products according to specifications. This role plays a key part in maintaining product quality and ensuring efficient workflow in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying environmental conditions (e.g., heat, cold, dust).
• Team-oriented with good communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, recycling, or manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sort and separate materials (e.g., metal, plastic, paper, components) based on type, size, quality, or other criteria.
• Inspect items for defects or contamination and remove non-conforming products.
• Operate conveyor belts, sorting machines, or other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors.
• Assist with loading/unloading materials and other general labor tasks as needed.
• Record sorting data and maintain accurate logs when required.
