About The Position
Recycling Works / Waste Connections has an immediate opening for a 2nd Shift - Recycle Center Sorter to join the team in Elkhart, Indiana. The schedule is Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays, starting at 2:00 PM and typically finishing around 12:00 AM - 12:30 AM.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently process incoming recyclable materials.
- Sort recycled material onto different conveyor belts and move material to the appropriate areas.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the recycling area and yard outside.
- Help maintain equipment such as baler and conveyor line.
- Assume custodial duties as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
