About The Position
Recycling Works has an immediate opening for a 2nd Shift - Recycle Center Sorter to join the team in Elkhart, Indiana. The pay rate is $17.00/hr with approximately 10 hours of overtime weekly (time and a half after 40). The schedule is Monday-Friday, starting at 2:00 pm and typically finishing between 10:30-11:00 pm, with occasional Saturdays. Requirements
- Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for safely and efficiently processing incoming recyclable materials.
- Will sort recycled material onto different conveyor belts and move material to the appropriate areas.
- Responsible the cleanliness of the recycling area and yard outside.
- Help maintain equipment such as baler and conveyor line.
- Assuming custodial duties as needed.
- Other manual labor that does not involve the operation of heavy equipment.
