About The Position
The Toledo Salvation Army is seeking a clothing sorter to perform a variety of functions in order to assist in the operation of the clothing sorting area of our Toledo Production Center.
Requirements
- Ability to inspect and separate saleable from unsaleable items.
- Ability to process and sort donations.
- Ability to deliver a minimum of 300 store quality garments per hour.
- Ability to categorize and box seasonal clothing, bric, and shoes.
- Ability to process, hang, and tag all sorted merchandise.
- Ability to ensure clothes are hung according to policy and on proper hanger.
- Ability to ensure that tag is properly placed on garment according to Salvation Army policy.

- Cross-train in all sorting room functions under the guidance of the Sorting Room Supervisor.
- Assist in cleaning and general maintenance of sorting room area.
- Maintain a clean and clutter free work area.
