About The Position
The purpose of this position is to monitor the flow of lumber in the sorter.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required
- Ability to get along well with others
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to make decisions quickly
Responsibilities
- Drop sorter bay when full
- Observe sorter bay levels to ensure boards don't hang
- Move full bundles of lumber to stacker using haul-out chains
- Clear hang-ups
- Keep machine and area clean at the end of each shift
- PM and grease machine
