About The Position

Atlantic Health is seeking a Per Diem Sonography Technologist for the Radiology Department at Overlook Medical Center. The role requires availability for varied shifts, including weekends and on-call work. The technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations using GE and Siemens equipment in outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department settings.

Requirements

Effective communication skills and the ability to work well as a team player.
Comfort performing exams in outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department settings.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
ARDMS certification required.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations using GE and Siemens equipment.
Perform general ultrasound, paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsies, small-parts, breast, OB, pelvic, and vascular exams.
