About The Position

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Sonography Technologist for the Radiology Department at Overlook Medical Center. The department needs a candidate that can work varied shifts, including weekends and on call. Qualified candidates will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations utilizing state-of-the-art GE and Siemens equipment. The role requires performing general ultrasound, paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsies, small parts, breast, OB, pelvic, and vascular exams. The ideal candidate will have effective communication skills, the ability to work well as a team player, and be comfortable performing exams in outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department settings.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Graduate of Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
ARDMS required within 6 months of employment
Effective communications skills and the ability to work well as a team player
Applicant must be comfortable performing exams in an outpatient as well as inpatient and emergency department setting

2+ years’ experience preferred
