About The Position

This role involves collaborating with experienced clinical professionals on key departmental projects to gain hands-on healthcare experience while directly supporting patient care goals. The intern will prioritize daily clinical tasks effectively within their scope of practice to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality support across the unit. They will communicate proactively with supervisors and care team members to resolve questions quickly, maintain safety standards, and elevate clinical outcomes. Additionally, the intern will contribute to cross-functional healthcare projects and quality improvement initiatives, delivering insightful work that advances departmental success. Clinical assignments will be executed in alignment with team objectives, developing essential clinical skills through active observation, guidance, and direct practice.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
High school diploma/GED required.
