About The Position

The Sonographer delivers a high standard of care in the treatment, management, control, and diagnostic evaluation and care of patients. This role involves effective communication and interaction with all members of the health care team, including patients, family, radiology staff, physicians, nursing, and other allied health personnel. The Sonographer follows prescribed techniques in administering general and specific ultrasound exams and arranges immobilization and support devices to obtain the desired patient positioning for results. Additionally, the role includes participation in continuing education programs and community educational programs.

Requirements

• Active license and certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers
• Some sonography clinical experience

Nice To Haves

• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Allied Health
• Active ARRT with 5-years experience in OB, Breast, and/or General Ultrasound and/or General Radiology
