Echo Sonographer
About The Position
As a Sonographer at our Paoli Hospital outpatient site, you will use your skills of compassion and care to complete necessary diagnostic medical procedures for a wide range of patients. You will use the latest technology to perform a variety of ultrasound procedures and provide expert care to patients. You will individually select and operate ultrasound equipment, prepare patients for procedures, and evaluate images for technical quality, while also working closely with our larger medical team. This role offers opportunities for career development through tuition reimbursement and involvement with various medical professionals across different locations.
Requirements
- Graduate of JRCERT approved program or 3 years of experience in an institution with a specialized vascular diagnostic lab.
- ARDMS-RVT or CCI-RVS certification required within 1 year of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Three years experience as Vascular Ultrasound Technologist preferred.
- Experience in a specialized, accredited vascular lab preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures using the latest technology.
- Provide expert care to patients.
- Individually select and operate ultrasound equipment.
- Prepare patients for procedures.
- Evaluate images for technical quality.
- Work closely with the larger medical team.
- Travel to other Main Line Radiology locations as needed.
