About The Position
Advance your career with Essentia Health’s dedicated care team in Superior, WI! We’re a Level IV Trauma Center and 25-bed critical access hospital in Superior, Wisconsin. You'll find us in the same building as Essentia Health St. Mary’s-Superior Clinic next to the Twin Ports VA Clinic off Tower Avenue. As one of Essentia Health’s Catholic facilities, we strive to provide holistic healing for all human life. In this role you will get too: Provide diagnostic ultrasound scans of patients for physician diagnosis, utilizing diagnostic ultrasound equipment and appropriate technical knowledge and skills. Position will be subject to signing up for on call shifts as well as potential for weekend shifts.
Requirements
- Education Requirements: Graduation from a Committee on Allied Health Education (CAHEA) accredited program in sonography and registry eligible by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- Certification/Licensure Requirements: Registered by the ARDMS within 1 year of hire.
- East Market: Must be certified in Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Vascular within 24 months of hire date. Those staff assigned to work in the Ashland location are not required to obtain Vascular certification.
- If working in Department 2010-2042320 MSK Ultrasound - SMDC HOSP, must complete ARDMS MSK Certification within 24 months.
