About The Position

The Sonographer performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations in a diagnostic imaging setting in Yuma, Colorado. The role requires experience with general, abdominal, OB/GYN, breast, and vascular/arterial ultrasound exams, as well as general diagnostic radiology procedures. The sonographer works independently, communicates diagnostic findings to physicians and radiologists, and must be willing to cross-train in other imaging modalities.

This is a 13-week contract scheduled Monday through Friday on the day shift, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 or 5:00 PM. There is no call, weekend, or holiday coverage. Flu vaccination is required; a medical exemption may be considered with physician documentation.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of ultrasound or sonography experience.
• Current ARRT certification.
• Current ARDMS certification.
• Current BLS/BCLS certification.
• Current CME compliance.
• Experience performing general, abdominal, OB/GYN, breast, and vascular/arterial ultrasound exams.
• Ability to work independently and communicate diagnostic findings to physicians and radiologists.
• Experience with general diagnostic radiology procedures.
• Willingness to cross-train in other imaging modalities.
• Flu vaccination; a medical exemption may be considered with physician documentation.
