Sonographer - Per Diem
About The Position
The Sonographer performs diagnostic medical ultrasound procedures for a wide range of patients, using the latest technology and providing compassionate, expert care. The role includes selecting and operating ultrasound equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and evaluating images for technical quality. The Sonographer works closely with the larger medical team and may support patients who are anxious or fearful during procedures. The position offers access to Main Line Health Education & Development classes, along with ongoing feedback and career development through performance appraisals and one-to-one communication with the Manager. Requirements
- Graduate of an approved program; JCERT preferred.
- Obtain RDMS certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography within 18 months of hire.
- Obtain RVT certification within 18 months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Three years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist preferred.
- JCERT approval is preferred.
