This is a Per Diem position with a schedule that will vary based on department needs, with shifts ranging from 4 to 8 hours between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM. The role requires the ability to provide coverage at any SEBMF Imaging Center, including Orinda, Berkeley, Antioch, and/or Castro Valley. The Sonographer II competently performs routine and specialized sonography procedures of moderate complexity to produce quality images for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease. They work independently, exercising sound judgment and clinical skills on challenging procedures to deliver accurate results. The role involves gaining patient confidence through assessment, monitoring, and communication, and adhering to all regulations for privacy and safety. The Sonographer III expertly performs routine and specialized sonography procedures of high complexity, working independently with seasoned clinical skills. They also focus on patient confidence, communication, and adherence to regulations. Both roles may be responsible for performing specific procedures and orienting other staff.
