About The Position

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Sonographer to join our partner healthcare facilities. This role involves performing general and vascular ultrasound procedures to produce accurate, high-quality diagnostic images. The Sonographer will operate ultrasound equipment, process and transmit images, maintain patient records, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Requirements

RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region required upon hire and maintained.
Graduate an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1 and graduation upon hire.
Previous one (1) year experience required.
Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.
Proficient computer skills

Responsibilities

Perform general ultrasound and vascular ultrasound procedures according to physician orders and imaging protocols.
Produce accurate, high-quality diagnostic ultrasound images for interpretation by radiologists.
Position patients and operate ultrasound equipment to obtain optimal scans.
Process, review, and transmit images to PACS for storage and physician review.
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and compliance with infection control and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to support quality patient care.
