About The Position

In our Maternal-Fetal Care Center clinic, you’ll collaborate closely with providers, residents, and fellows in a supportive, team-oriented environment. We also partner with specialists at Children’s of Wisconsin to ensure seamless, comprehensive care for patients whose babies may require additional support after delivery. We are seeking a motivated and compassionate sonographer who is eager to grow their expertise, contribute to a collaborative team, and make a difference in the lives of patients and families during some of their most critical moments.
Requirements
- Proficient with ultrasound equipment
- Basic knowledge of patient care equipment
- Registry eligible through the ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers)
- Registered in OB/GYN (OB) and Fetal Echo (FE)
- Certified in Nuchal Translucency (NT)
- Competency assessment in Cervical Length evaluation (if not previously credentialed)
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life support for the Healthcare provider (BLS) or an American Heart Association (AHA) approved equivalent within 90 days of hire
Nice To Haves
- One year of current clinical experience
- Associate or Bachelors degree in Ultrasound/Sonography
- Substantial training and current clinical experience with ARDMS registry
- Familiarity with McKesson PACS
- Familiarity with Epic EMR
Responsibilities
- Administers ultrasound procedures to pregnant patients
- Operates ultrasound equipment
- Prepares patient rooms, equipment and supplies
- Assisting with invasive procedures (amniocentesis)
- Doppler studies
- Biophysical profiles
- High-detail Level 2 ultrasounds
- Anatomy surveys
