About The Position

Sonographer II (OB/GYN) – Maternal Fetal Medicine Join a Collaborative, Fast-Paced Clinical Team We are seeking a Sonographer II specializing in OB/GYN to join our Maternal Fetal Medicine clinic in Birmingham, AL. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced sonographers and motivated new graduates looking to grow in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Our clinic is fast-paced, highly collaborative, and focused on delivering exceptional patient care while partnering closely with physicians and the care team. In this role, you will provide high-quality diagnostic sonographic imaging to support patient care, assisting physicians in evaluating and interpreting results. You will play a key role in ensuring a positive patient experience while maintaining clinical excellence. Requirements

RDMS (OB/GYN) certification
Graduate of an accredited sonography program
Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain)
Strong clinical and technical ultrasound skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
A team player who collaborates effectively with physicians and peers
Excellent communication and patient care skills

Nice To Haves

RDCS (FE) certification (or willingness to obtain within 1 year of hire)
Experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams in collaboration with physicians
Ensure accurate imaging, patient identification, and documentation
Assess image quality and confirm proper anatomy is captured
Deliver compassionate patient care while maintaining safety standards
Maintain compliance with regulatory and quality control standards
Assist with training and mentoring new team members as needed
