This is a part-time Sonographer Float position with 20 hours per week, requiring flexibility in shifts, including occasional weekends. The role involves floating between the Oshkosh and Neenah locations and participating in holiday and call rotations. The Sonographer will competently operate ultrasound equipment to perform general, vascular, and/or cardiac procedures, accurately differentiating between normal and pathologic findings. They will review patient medical records, obtain necessary clinical information, and ensure exam accuracy by comparing requisitions to physician orders. The position requires positioning patients, selecting appropriate equipment, and adjusting factors to attain optimal images while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The Sonographer will use cognitive skills to identify, record, and adapt procedures, label images correctly, and maintain records in accordance with regulatory agencies. They will also enter patient and study information into the radiology information system, document billing codes, identify equipment issues, and analyze sonograms to communicate findings to physicians. The role requires demonstrating knowledge of age-specific care and principles of growth and development.
