About The Position

The Sub Cable & CT Line Spooler is responsible for safely handling, transporting, spooling, and supporting the installation of submersible cable and CT line equipment at customer and field locations. The role works closely with Field Service Technicians and rig crews to stage, install, and maintain equipment while complying with DOT regulations, company policies, customer requirements, and safety standards. It requires attention to detail, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work in demanding field environments. The position also involves maintaining company vehicles, trailers, and equipment; completing job documentation; participating in safety and training activities; and maintaining required certifications. Work may require flexible schedules, overtime, travel, outdoor work, and physical activity at industrial sites.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record; CDL preferred where applicable.
Ability to obtain and maintain required DOT, safety, and customer-specific certifications.
Ability to read and complete work-related documentation accurately.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work flexible schedules, overtime, and travel as required.
Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work for extended periods in outdoor environments.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions and industrial work sites.
Ability to safely operate company vehicles, trailers, and material handling equipment.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Gather and organize tools, materials, and supplies for assigned jobs and work locations.
Load, transport, unload, and position submersible cable, CT line, and related equipment at customer and field sites.
Assist Field Service Technicians and rig personnel with pulling, spooling, and installing submersible cable, CT line, and associated downhole equipment.
Install cable bands and supporting hardware during equipment installations.
Handle cable and CT line safely and in accordance with company procedures and customer requirements.
Complete job tickets, service reports, inspection forms, and other required documentation accurately and promptly.
Maintain assigned company vehicles, trailers, and equipment through routine inspections, cleaning, and preventive maintenance.
Follow company maintenance policies and procedures to ensure equipment reliability and operational readiness.
Comply with DOT regulations, company driving requirements, and vehicle inspection standards.
Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively at customer locations.
Participate in safety meetings, training programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain required DOT, safety, and job-related certifications.
Follow company policies, procedures, and quality standards to support safe and efficient operations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
