About The Position

The role involves preparing menu items according to Sonic recipes and quality standards, keeping the kitchen clean and organized, following food safety and sanitation requirements, supporting inventory needs, and working with the team during busy periods.

Requirements

Previous experience as a cook in a fast-food or quick-service restaurant, preferably with Sonic or a similar brand.
Knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety practices.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and deliver quality meals quickly.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Passion for food and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to Sonic recipes and quality standards.
Prepare food promptly and serve it at the correct temperature.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and at workstations.
Follow health, safety, and sanitation regulations during food preparation.
Assist with inventory management and replenishment of supplies as needed.
