About The Position

Marbled & Fin, a modern and elevated steakhouse experience in Charleston, SC, is seeking a dynamic and hospitality-driven Sommelier Manager. This role involves overseeing the wine program and enhancing the guest experience within a nationally recognized restaurant group committed to innovation, mentorship, and excellence in service. The restaurant offers prime steaks, high-quality seafood, and an expansive wine and spirits list in a sleek, modern setting.

Requirements

• Wine management experience in a high-end, full-service restaurant
• Certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers (Level 2+) or WSET Level 3
• Deep knowledge of international wine regions, varietals, and vintages
• Warm, engaging, and guest-focused hospitality style
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on team development
• Passion for wine, ongoing learning, and delivering world-class service
• Well-versed in financials, inventory oversight, and team scheduling

Responsibilities

• Lead the wine and beverage program with expertise, enthusiasm, and vision
• Curate and maintain a global wine list that complements the menu and enhances the guest experience
• Provide tableside wine service and offer pairing recommendations
• Educate and train staff on wine knowledge, service techniques, and food pairing principles
• Monitor wine inventory and vendor relationships, ensuring cost efficiency and product quality
• Collaborate with the culinary team to execute seasonal pairings and special events
• Maintain a strong leadership presence by working a full rotation of opening, mid, and closing shifts.
