About The Position
Marbled & Fin is seeking a dynamic and hospitality-driven Sommelier Manager to oversee its wine program and enhance the guest experience. This is a unique opportunity for a hospitality-focused leader to join a nationally recognized restaurant group that celebrates innovation, mentorship, and excellence in service. Marbled & Fin is an elevated steakhouse experience, celebrating prime steaks, high-quality seafood, and an expansive wine and spirits list. This role will be instrumental in bringing the concept's second location, expanding from Charleston to Savannah, to life.
Requirements
- Wine management experience in a high-end, full-service restaurant.
- Certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers (Level 2+) or WSET Level 3.
- Deep knowledge of international wine regions, varietals, and vintages.
- Warm, engaging, and guest-focused hospitality style.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on team development.
- Passion for wine, ongoing learning, and delivering world-class service.
- Well-versed in financials, inventory oversight, and team scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Lead the wine and beverage program with expertise, enthusiasm, and vision.
- Curate and maintain a global wine list that complements the menu and enhances the guest experience.
- Provide tableside wine service and offer pairing recommendations.
- Educate and train staff on wine knowledge, service techniques, and food pairing principles.
- Monitor wine inventory and vendor relationships, ensuring cost efficiency and product quality.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to execute seasonal pairings and special events.
- Maintain a strong leadership presence by working a full rotation of opening, mid, and closing shifts.
