About The Position

This position will involve leading the design and development of Corporate Performance Management (CPM) systems for our clients within particular CPM specialty areas. The role focuses on owning the design and development of specialty build areas of the technical architecture on CPM projects, typically full-time on one client engagement. The specialist will provide solution architectural assessments, design strategies, and development roadmaps within a particular specialty area such as integration, model build, marketplace planning, or user experience. A key aspect of this role is possessing knowledge of financial reporting and processes in specialty functional areas, understanding the connections between technical solution possibilities and functional business requirements, and logically communicating the pros and cons of different approaches. The role also involves documenting discovery/requirements and detailed design options, creating and maintaining baseline implementation instructions, check lists, and object trackers, and identifying solutions to present to the Solutions Review Group for standardization/productionizing/marketing. Furthermore, the specialist will gain understanding of Finit's skillset and capabilities in various solution delivery areas and determine how to share them to develop others, as well as assess/test/share knowledge of newly released features/solutions and understand their impact on current solutions and best practices. Building and developing authentic client and Finit relationships is crucial, as is ensuring a respectful and team-oriented work environment on projects. The role includes providing real-time on-the-job feedback to team members and playing a key role in critical internal Finit activities, training, and employee enablement. Finally, the specialist is expected to assume ownership of their own personal growth at Finit and continuously seek to broaden and develop new job skills and expertise.

Requirements

• Specialist will typically have 3-5 years' experience with CPM software and/or the financial close cycle.
• Content/functional expertise in the several core EPM knowledge areas, including: Forecasting, Planning and Analysis, Consolidation and Reporting.
• Possess an aptitude for technology and a basic understanding of system architecture and design requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal skills, and capable of tailoring communication based on the knowledge and needs of specific audiences.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills to assist with managing both Finit staff and client stakeholders.
• Energized by projects with high degree of uncertainty. Comfortable managing own tasks within this uncertainty.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise consistently good judgment.
• High competence in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Nice To Haves

• Previous OneStream experience a plus.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent a plus.
• CPA a plus.
