About The Position

As a Solutions Specialist, you'll partner with business leaders to rapidly develop modern applications, automations, and data solutions that drive operational excellence and support BrightShore's continued growth. The Solutions Specialist is responsible for identifying business challenges and rapidly developing practical technology solutions that improve efficiency, automate manual work, and enhance the experience of employees, borrowers, clients, and business partners. This role is designed for an individual with exceptional curiosity, strong technical aptitude, and a passion for building solutions rather than simply maintaining systems. Working closely with business leaders across the organization, the Solutions Specialist translates operational needs into modern applications, dashboards, automations, integrations, and user experiences. Projects may include developing web-based interfaces, creating internal applications, building dashboards and business intelligence reporting, writing SQL queries, developing Python-based utilities, integrating APIs, implementing AI-driven workflows, and leveraging low-code or automation platforms to accelerate delivery. Success is measured by solving business problems quickly, accurately, and sustainably—not by the specific technology used. This position embraces a rapid development philosophy where ideas move from concept to deployment in days rather than months. The Solutions Specialist is expected to leverage modern AI development platforms, automation technologies, and emerging software tools to dramatically improve productivity while maintaining quality, security, scalability, and operational reliability. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys learning new technologies, experimenting with innovative approaches, and continuously expanding their technical capabilities. Rather than being an expert in every programming language or platform, this individual possesses the aptitude and determination to quickly master new technologies and apply them to real business challenges. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related technical field preferred; equivalent demonstrated technical ability, personal projects, internships, military experience, or self-directed learning will be considered
• Demonstrated passion for technology, software development, automation, and solving business problems through innovative solutions
• Experience developing software, applications, automations, dashboards, or technical projects using one or more modern programming languages or development platforms
• Working knowledge of SQL, relational databases, APIs, web technologies, business intelligence tools, Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, or similar technologies preferred
• Experience leveraging artificial intelligence platforms and modern development tools to accelerate software development, research, testing, and documentation
• Ability to quickly learn new programming languages, development frameworks, software platforms, and emerging technologies with minimal supervision
• Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities with the curiosity to investigate challenges until practical solutions are found
• Experience creating user interfaces, reports, dashboards, automations, integrations, or workflow improvements preferred
• Comfortable working across multiple technologies rather than specializing exclusively in a single programming language or platform
• Demonstrated ability to balance technical quality with rapid delivery in a fast-paced business environment
• Experience using source control, testing methodologies, debugging techniques, and documentation practices preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into language understood by business users
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to continuously learn, experiment, and improve technical capabilities outside of formal training
• Portfolio of personal projects, GitHub repositories, technical demonstrations, hackathons, internships, or other examples of independent learning and software development strongly preferred

• MSP or FICS’ Mortgage Servicer a plus

Responsibilities

• Partner with business units to understand operational challenges and rapidly develop practical technology solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer experience
• Design, develop, and deploy internal applications, dashboards, utilities, workflows, and automation solutions that support business objectives
• Create intuitive user interfaces that simplify complex operational processes and improve usability for employees and business partners

• Write and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, reports, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions that provide meaningful operational insight
• Develop Python-based utilities, scripts, APIs, and automation tools that eliminate repetitive tasks and improve data quality
• Integrate internal and third-party systems through APIs, web services, and automation platforms to improve information flow and operational efficiency
• Leverage artificial intelligence platforms and modern development tools to accelerate solution design, development, testing, and deployment
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend practical solutions that improve business performance and employee productivity
• Develop rapid prototypes and proof-of-concept applications to validate ideas before full implementation
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and validation of applications to ensure accuracy, reliability, and scalability
• Maintain documentation for applications, workflows, APIs, automations, databases, and technical processes to support long-term sustainability
• Collaborate with Data Integration, Operational Integrity, Compliance, and business leaders to ensure solutions align with operational, regulatory, and security requirements
• Design technology solutions that reduce manual processing, eliminate duplicate work, improve data quality, and strengthen operational controls
