About The Position

The Solutions Specialist III is a staff position that provides technical support assisting with technical issues related to new projects for clients. This role involves completing client projects, providing hardware, software, and network support, creating and updating documentation, acting as an initial contact for clients needing technical support for new projects, assisting technicians with technical problems, responding to and working tickets, and communicating technical solutions clearly. The position requires following defined procedures, documenting changes, and escalating complex problems to senior technicians.

Requirements

  • Advanced understanding of desktop operating systems, various software applications, and PC/Server/Network hardware.
  • Advanced understanding of principles and theories of network systems and management.
  • Advanced understanding of electrical safety procedures.
  • At least three years of technical work experience or equivalent education.
  • At least three relevant technical certifications (e.g., A+. Network+. Security+).
  • Proficient in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Group Policies.
  • Strong experience in administering Active Directory, including user and group management, domain services, and directory services.
  • Skilled in the management, configuration, and troubleshooting of various server environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of banking applications and software, with experience in managing and maintaining these systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Self-driven with a proactive approach to tasks, consistently taking ownership of responsibilities and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Use of personal phone through Multi-factor authentication is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s (or higher) degree in computer science-related field.
  • Four or more years of technical work experience.
  • Four or more relevant certifications (e.g., A+, Network+, Security+).

Responsibilities

  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Group Policies.
  • Administer Active Directory, including user and group management, domain services, and directory services.
  • Manage, configure, and troubleshoot various server environments.
  • Manage and maintain banking applications and software.
  • Solve technical problems and analyze issues with efficiency and precision.
  • Complete client projects by performing tasks as requested by Project Management, System Infrastructure Project Specialists, clients, and vendors.
  • Provide hardware, software, and network support to clients by implementing risk mitigation of downtime, retaining/improving security, and striving to reduce the client’s need to contact support for troubleshooting.
  • Create or update documentation on new / modified processes for client projects.
  • Act as the initial contact for clients that need technical support related to new client projects.
  • Assist technicians with technical problems they encounter.
  • Respond and work tickets assigned as appropriate, answer calls related to projects, and create new or updated existing tickets.
  • Clearly communicate technical solutions in a user-friendly, professional manner, both verbally and written.
  • Follow defined procedures and policies to resolve tasks and document changes.
  • Escalate or involve senior technicians on sensitive or complex problems.
  • Perform related work as required.
