Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Diploma/Degree specialization in Engineering, Systems Design, Management or related field preferred
• 1+ years experience with data science tools, SQL (Google Big Query preferred).
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, JS, HTML, React.
• Familiarity with API integrations, some ability to develop, maintain and/or troubleshoot issues.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem-solve to well-judged decisions.
• Strong aptitude for understanding technical and business requirements. Ability to understand reasoning for project requirements.
• High accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
• Able to work well under pressure and respond to fast changing priorities and deadlines.
• Strong project management skills; able to identify needs, develop effective solutions and manage projects through to completion.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn and a strong work ethic and passion for technology and innovation.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience or exposure to telematics, connected vehicle technology, or related fields is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Solutions Engineering team to design and develop solutions that leverage Geotab’s ecosystem to our customer’s challenges. This includes creating proof-of-concept models, identifying key features and assessing potential impacts to customer requirements.
• Support and maintain team solutions through further development, documentation or cross-team training.
• Provide technical project management support as needed for team projects.
• Prepare accurate and concise technical documentation, reports, and presentations related to sustainability initiatives and solution development.
• Communicate project progress, challenges, and outcomes to relevant stakeholders.
• Assist in the coordination and execution of projects, including data collection, performance monitoring, and analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are achieved within established timelines.
• Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and industry standards.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in Geotab's ecosystem and propose innovative alternatives.
