About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) for a hybrid position (3 days onsite) with a Global Financial Institution. This role requires a hands-on approach with a deep focus on OpenShift and container expertise. The ideal candidate will be able to independently troubleshoot issues across application, database, networking, observability, workflow orchestration, and GPU infrastructure layers, while also driving reliability, automation, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Production Support, Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Application Infrastructure Support.
• Strong hands-on experience supporting applications deployed on OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms.
• Proven expertise troubleshooting OpenShift clusters, pods, deployments, routes, and services.
• Proven expertise troubleshooting container networking, security, and ingress issues.
• Proven expertise troubleshooting Persistent Volumes (PV), Persistent Volume Claims (PVC), and storage-related issues.
• Proven expertise troubleshooting container image management, upgrades, and vulnerability remediation.
• Proven expertise troubleshooting production performance, scalability, and reliability issues.
• Experience supporting GPU-enabled infrastructure and AI/ML workloads.
• Experience supporting Camunda workflow orchestration platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database, MongoDB, Linux/Unix environments, VMware infrastructure, F5 Load Balancers, DNS, SSL/TLS, and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git, and enterprise DevOps toolsets.
• Experience with deployment automation and release management.
• Strong observability and monitoring expertise using Dynatrace, Splunk, and Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools.
• Strong understanding of vulnerability management, platform security, operational controls, and production readiness.
• Ability to effectively partner with infrastructure, container, database, network, security, and application development teams to drive issue resolution and platform reliability.

Nice To Haves

• OpenShift or Kubernetes certification.
• Experience supporting large-scale distributed systems in highly regulated enterprise environments.
• Experience with AI/ML platforms and containerized workloads.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and reliability engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

• Support Camunda workflow orchestration platforms.

• Ensure vulnerability management, platform security, operational controls, and production readiness.
• Partner with infrastructure, container, database, network, security, and application development teams to resolve issues and improve platform reliability.
