About The Position

IT Consulting company is seeking a client-facing Solutions Engineer with a hands-on development background to support solution design, pre-sales activities, and project delivery. This role is focused on solution design and client engagement, supported by real-world implementation experience. This position is exclusively for current or former developers. Candidates without hands-on development experience will not be considered.

Requirements

• 1–3+ years of hands-on scratch development experience
• Experience across system development lifecycle (design development testing deployment)
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice To Haves

• Experience in client-facing roles
• Experience preparing proposals and estimates
• Python or .NET development experience

Responsibilities

• Client Engagement Understand client business requirements and challenges Propose practical solutions Prepare proposals, demos, and effort estimations
• Solution Design Lead requirement gathering and business analysis Design scalable and implementable system architectures Translate business needs into technical solutions
• Delivery Support Collaborate with development teams to ensure successful delivery Review technical designs and validate feasibility Support UAT and go-live processes
• Technical Involvement Validate solutions based on hands-on development experience Support prototyping, troubleshooting, and technical decision-making
