About The Position

We are looking for an Engineer Change Coordinator. This position will be based in Pomona, CA. The role involves coordinating changes to orders after they have been scheduled, monitoring systems for updates, advising on fees and reporting delays, uploading necessary documents, providing regular reporting on changes and their causes, and coordinating change order management with project timelines. The goal is to improve the change order process to minimize delays and enhance profit.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2+ years’ experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Engineer, or Project Manager.
Proficient in SAP
Strong skills in MS Office (Excel and/or Access) and strong math skills/background.
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Low Voltage Electrical Distribution Equipment
Prior experience with complex engineering, production, or service environments
Microsoft Project
PMP-Project Management Professional training/certification

Responsibilities

Coordinate with master scheduler, application engineering teams (AE) and project management team (PM) on changes to orders after they have been scheduled.
Monitor Siemens Pricing Configurators (COMPAS) system for changes and updates to existing orders.
Advise fees and report delays to customers and engineering due to changes.
Upload new documents that are required to make changes.
Provide regular reporting to the organization on changes and there cause.
Coordinate with PM’s and project engineers on change order management as it relates to project timelines and needs.
Help maintain SAP dates related to changes, production schedules updated and communicate changes through appropriate channels.
Improve change order process to minimize delays and improve profit.
