The Role: As a Solutions Consultant for Kainos’ Smart Test product , you will play a key presales role in engaging prospects and customers, helping them improve testing quality, reduce release risk, and gain confidence in their Workday changes. Working closely with Account Executives, you will support/lead discovery, deliver compelling demonstrations, and clearly articulate the business value of Smart Test to both technical and executive stakeholders. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solution selling, understands Workday and testing challenges, and can translate complex concepts into meaningful business outcomes.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience with Workday, HCM, or related enterprise systems (functional, consulting, or testing experience preferred).
  • 2+ years in a presales, solution consulting, or customer-facing SaaS role.
  • Strong ability to connect technical solutions to business outcomes.
  • Experience delivering product demonstrations and engaging diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement & Discovery Lead discovery sessions to understand customer testing challenges, risk areas, and business priorities.
  • Partner with sales teams to qualify opportunities and align customer needs to Smart Test capabilities.
  • Act as a trusted advisor throughout the presales cycle.
  • Solution Demonstration & Value Proposition Design and deliver tailored Smart Test demonstrations aligned to customer use cases.
  • Clearly communicate the value of improved testing, release confidence, and quality.
  • Support value-based discussions, business cases, and ROI narratives.
  • Product & Technical Expertise Develop deep expertise in Smart Test, including Workday integrations and differentiators.
  • Confidently address functional and technical questions during the sales cycle.
  • Share customer feedback and insights with product and go-to-market teams.
  • Sales & Go-to-Market Support Support RFPs, proposals, and customer workshops as needed.
  • Contribute to enablement materials and demo best practices.
  • Collaborate across sales, product, and delivery to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Putting People First Share knowledge and best practices with the Solutions Consulting team.
  • Participate in team learning and development initiatives.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing culture.
