About The Position

A Solution Consultant is a dynamic individual who has a strong desire to learn and solve problems creatively and quickly. The position will report to the Director of Solution Engineering and will work extensively with various internal and external clients. Prophix helps finance teams work with greater flexibility and confidence through Prophix One™, our Financial Performance Platform. Requirements

  • Minimum 1-year experience in consulting, implementation services, business / systems analyst, pre-sales and / or financial systems experience
  • Post-Secondary Degree in Accounting, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in analyzing and / or manipulating large data sets
  • Able to clearly articulate concepts and business benefits to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience designing re-usable processes & solutions (e.g. Excel models, automation scripts, ETL processes, etc.)
  • Proven ability to quickly learn new technology, its benefits, and how it can be leveraged to achieve business goals & objectives
  • Comfort using AI tools responsibly to support tasks such as research, drafting, or data review
  • Ability to learn new tools and adapt as technology evolves
  • Curiosity and openness to exploring new approaches
  • Collaborative mindset when working with teams and technology
  • Must be legally entitled to work in the country where this role is located

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with BI tools, EPM / CPM solutions and/or data warehousing considered an asset
  • Academic or practical knowledge of Accounting and/or Financial concepts (e.g. planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidations, and reporting)
  • In-depth knowledge of Excel considered an asset
  • Natural presenter with great interpersonal skills and comfortable in the spotlight
  • Able to gather and understand business requirements, current challenges and propose solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about scale, reuse, and efficiency in a client-facing process

Responsibilities

  • Participate in discovery calls and meetings with prospects to understand their business challenges, workflows, and requirements
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations of Prophix One™ tailored to each prospect's industry, use cases, and pain points
  • Build and deliver proof-of-concept environments that address specific prospect needs, demonstrating how Prophix is uniquely positioned to solve their challenges
  • Partner closely with Account Executives to develop and execute winning deal strategies throughout the sales cycle
  • Develop deep product expertise in Prophix One™ and stay current on new capabilities, industry trends, and competitive positioning
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to prospects, clearly articulating how Prophix addresses their financial planning, reporting, and automation needs
  • Conduct webinars, partner enablement sessions, and other prospect-facing events that showcase the platform and generate pipeline
  • Capture and share prospect feedback, competitive insights, and field learnings with Product, Marketing, and the broader Presales team
