About The Position

Caseware is a leading SaaS organization with over 30 years of experience in the global audit and accounting software industry. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Solutions Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be a trusted advisor, guiding customers and prospective customers through the evaluation of Caseware solutions. You will collaborate with accounting firms and organizations to help them navigate technology modernization, understand current solutions, and leverage emerging technologies like AI and automation for efficiency and growth. You will also work closely with internal teams, including account management, training, professional services, support, and product, to ensure customer needs are met. This role supports customers across North America and may require availability outside of standard business hours to accommodate different time zones. This is a full-time, permanent, new vacancy, and the role is remote and open to applicants residing and eligible to work in Canada.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience preparing financial statements and/or performing Audit, Assurance, Review or Compilation engagements OR at least 3 years of experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., customer success, account management, implementation or project management) in a SAAS company serving the Accounting Profession.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to understand and interpret stakeholder needs.
  • Understanding of, or strong interest in, AI-powered accounting solutions and the ability to discuss how AI can be applied to modern accounting, audit, and advisory workflows.
  • Strong organization skills with experience tracking and managing multiple deliverables and tasks.
  • A resourceful self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment where initiative and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Sound understanding of technology within the audit and accountancy sector, or an enthusiasm to learn.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience utilizing CaseWare to create financial statements or perform engagements.
  • CPA, Chartered Accountant or equivalent, with 3+ years Audit or Accounting experience.
  • Experience leading technology adoption, training, methodology, or other innovation efforts in an accounting firm.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Experience and/or qualifications in project, product or program management.
  • Practical experience utilizing AI tools, including for software development.
  • Deep understanding of accounting, financial processes and technologies.
  • Experience with CRM systems and tools for sales and lead management.
  • Product, Product Marketing, Sales experience, or experience working closely with those functional teams.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (E.g., Salesforce).
  • Experience documenting internal processes and identifying/implementing efficiency or quality improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Account Managers and other Solution Consultants to help prospects and customers evaluate and plan the implementation of Caseware products.
  • Lead evaluation activities, including presentations, trials, and pilots, sharing expertise and best practices, and coordinating with technical or product SMEs.
  • Strategize with customers on their migration and implementation journeys from existing accounting and audit tools, working with the Professional Services team to ensure clear direction and addressed requirements.
  • Support customer evaluations and implementations by providing information on tools, processes, and resources, and helping to keep timelines and tasks on track.
  • Create and maintain product demonstration strategies, use cases, and related assets that are value and benefit-driven.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and Product teams, gathering and translating customer feedback into actionable insights for product development.
  • Attend conferences and events to maintain customer relationships and stay updated on industry standards and trends.
  • Participate in speaking engagements and thought leadership events or publications.
  • Design and implement processes and systems to support the delivery of consistent, scalable services.
  • Assist in the development and execution of internal improvement plans that are scalable for future growth.
