About The Position

LCS is seeking a Solutions Consultant – Vendor Payments to help expand adoption of our vendor payment offerings within our flagship product, Rent Manager. In this role, you’ll lead customer conversations, demonstrate how our vendor payment solutions integrate seamlessly into existing workflows, and support Sales in identifying and advancing opportunities. This is a revenue-influencing role—you won’t directly manage payment processing or contracts, but you’ll play a critical part in driving growth by shaping opportunities, educating customers and internal teams, and coordinating partner involvement to ensure a smooth path from discovery through implementation. Compensation for this role is directly tied to vendor payment revenue performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, solutions consulting, enablement, or customer-facing roles
  • Experience with vendor payments, fintech, accounts payable, or integrated SaaS solutions strongly preferred
  • Familiarity working alongside Sales teams and external partners
  • Ability to explain complex concepts in clear, customer-friendly terms
  • Proven ability to collaborate across Sales, Partners, and internal teams
  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on follow-through and deal momentum
  • Comfort operating in a revenue-influencing role without direct contract ownership

Responsibilities

  • Lead vendor payment-focused conversations with prospective and existing customers, explaining vendor payment offerings and how they integrate into Rent Manager workflows.
  • Articulate value, use cases, and operational benefits of the vendor payment solution in clear, customer-friendly terms.
  • Serve as the vendor payments subject-matter expert during sales cycles; ensure customers understand the solution prior to partner introduction.
  • Support Outside Sales and Inside Sales teams on new logo and existing customer expansion opportunities; help identify, shape, and advance vendor payment opportunities.
  • Partner with vendor payment partners to facilitate warm handoffs, joint calls, and coordinated follow-up to support deal closure.
  • Quarterback vendor payment opportunities from initial engagement through partner close, maintaining deal momentum and reducing stall risk.
  • Educate Sales teams on vendor payment offerings, workflows, positioning, and common customer questions; advise when to engage a Solutions Consultant.
  • Develop and refine vendor payment-related sales materials, talk tracks, and best practices in collaboration with Sales leadership.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of vendor payment offerings and the Rent Manager integration; provide limited support for integration questions and coordinate with Product/Support as needed.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Support, and Partners to ensure accurate information is shared and customer experience is consistent.
  • Track vendor payment-related activity and opportunity influence within CRM; contribute to forecasting and reporting related to vendor payment adoption and growth.
  • Share customer feedback, objections, and market insights to improve messaging, enablement, and sales effectiveness.
