About The Position

Tripoint Solutions is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to support an upcoming federal government contract. The selected candidate will lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise technology solutions that align with mission objectives, security requirements, and operational needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT architecture, software development, or systems engineering roles.
  • Experience supporting federal, state, or local government programs.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing complex technology solutions in a professional services environment.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and on-premises infrastructure.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles, Zero Trust architectures, and secure system design.
  • Experience with system integration, APIs, microservices, and enterprise applications.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • USA Citizenship is required.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in a relevant technical or business discipline.
  • Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
  • TOGAF, CISSP, PMP, SAFe, or related certifications.
  • Experience with FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, RMF, and government compliance frameworks.
  • Experience supporting digital transformation and modernization initiatives.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients and internal teams to gather and analyze business requirements and technical needs.
  • Analyze business and mission requirements and translate them into technical architectures.
  • Develop solution roadmaps, reference architectures, and implementation strategies.
  • Provide technical leadership throughout the system development lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with federal security, privacy, and governance requirements.
  • Design cloud, hybrid, and on-premises architectures using industry best practices.
  • Conduct technology evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and architecture reviews.
  • Collaborate with program managers, engineers, cybersecurity teams, and government stakeholders.
  • Develop architecture documentation, diagrams, technical specifications, and presentations.
  • Support proposal development, technical responses, and solution demonstrations when required.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks and dependencies.
