We're looking for a talented Solutions Architect, Total Rewards to join our team and work closely with our business partners to drive key business decisions and innovate in critical tools such as Workday. Your contributions will help shape the future of our organization as we continue to push the boundaries of what's possible. The DoorDash Business Technology team is looking for a Solutions Architect, Total Rewards with demonstrated experience and knowledge in Workday Advanced Compensation and its touchpoints across Core HCM, Talent, Performance, and Reporting. As a Solutions Architect, Total Rewards you will interact directly with senior leaders and cross-functional partners across DoorDash to capture requirements while designing lasting solutions with Business Technology. This role will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the compensation architecture and tooling used to evaluate and reward employees during our mid-year and annual cycles, including complex Workday configuration and downstream integrations. This role will report to the Sr. Manager of Business Technology Architecture.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of work experience in HRIS implementation and configuration, with deep expertise in Workday Advanced Compensation and its integration points across Core HCM, Talent, Performance, and Reporting.
  • Experience owning compensation cycle execution (such as merit, bonus, or equity) for a global organization, including data loads, comp statements, and range or benchmarking data management.
  • A BA/BS degree in a quantitative or business field, or equivalent work experience.
  • A self-motivated, analytical problem solver who is comfortable working through complex, ambiguous problems and managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, continually changing environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience partnering directly with senior stakeholders across global business units.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end design and configuration of the Workday Compensation architecture, including grade profiles, eligibility rules, and range and benchmarking data, that power our mid-year and annual rewards cycles.
  • Lead technical readiness for cycle open, close, and hypercare, partnering with Total Rewards, People Operations, and Finance to keep compensation data accurate and cycles on schedule.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on Workday compensation touchpoints with Talent, Performance, and Reporting, troubleshooting complex configuration and integration issues as they arise.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions, identifying opportunities to reduce manual, error-prone processes.
  • Support data integrity and compliance across the compensation architecture through regular audits, testing, and documentation.
