About the position
The Solutions Architect within the Integrations team is a techno-functional role working with large enterprise customers. This role requires a strong background in e-commerce platforms and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively. The Solutions Architect will be responsible for solving complex problems, developing scalable solutions, and assisting customers with product adoption. They will also play a key role in pre-sales activities, design holistic solutions using Bolt's APIs and products, and become a trusted advisor to customers. Additionally, the Solutions Architect will support customers throughout the integration process and contribute to the development of new features for the Bolt offering.
Responsibilities
- Assist in pre-sales activities including preliminary scoping discussions, estimation, and Statement of Work creation.
- Design holistic solutions using Bolt's APIs and products that are captured in the form of a Solution Design Document.
- Exhibit strong executive presence and ability to interact with key project sponsors.
- Become a trusted advisor to our customers for all things eCommerce and Bolt.
- Be accountable for our customers' successful integration into the Bolt ecosystem.
- Support our customers from the end of pre-sales into implementation/kick-off, go-live, and immediately afterwards during hypercare.
- Become an in-house subject matter expert in Bolt's plug-ins, direct APIs, and SDK ecosystem.
- Document key learnings into playbooks for future course correction.
- Help develop features for the Bolt offering, working closely with core product & engineering teams.
- Move fast, learn, and continuously iterate, championing best practices and ensuring the highest technical standards.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a software engineer or architect in a customer facing role
- Prior experience in at least one ecommerce platform (Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.)
- Strong technical background in e-commerce platforms
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively
- Experience in pre-sales activities, including scoping discussions, estimation, and creating Statement of Work
- Ability to design holistic solutions using Bolt's APIs and products
- Strong executive presence and ability to interact with key project sponsors
- Ability to become a trusted advisor to customers for all things eCommerce and Bolt
- Accountability for successful integration of customers into the Bolt ecosystem
- Support customers from pre-sales to implementation, go-live, and hypercare
- In-depth knowledge of Bolt's plug-ins, direct APIs, and SDK ecosystem
- Ability to document key learnings into playbooks for future course correction
- Collaboration with core product and engineering teams to develop features for the Bolt offering
