About The Position

Hitachi Solutions is looking for a high-impact Solution Sales Professional (SSP) to lead the next frontier of our AI growth: in industry focused Data & AI solutions. The ideal candidate is a seasoned solution sales professional who bridges deep industry knowledge with hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure Data & AI technologies. You bring a consultative mindset and the credibility to engage C-suite stakeholders — translating complex technical capabilities into compelling business outcomes that resonate at the board level.

Requirements

  • Solution Sales mandatory, in a large consulting firm, preferably a Microsoft Partner is mandatory.
  • Mandatory experience in Consulting Sales.
  • Setting Go To Market Strategy for Data & AI is Mandatory.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Ecosystem is mandatory.
  • 10+ years in Technical Sales or Solution Architecture and Professional Services.
  • Advanced understanding of Azure AI Services and Data Platforms.
  • Proven expertise in one or more of the following industries: Discrete or Process Manufacturing, Health & Life Sciences, Consumer Packaged Goods, Insurance, Retail, or Construction.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a complex, consultative selling environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Deep, firsthand knowledge of at least one, and ideally two or more, of the following industries: Discrete or Process Manufacturing, Health & Life Sciences, Consumer Packaged Goods, Insurance, Retail, or Construction. This isn't surface-level familiarity. You understand how these businesses operate, where the margins are made and lost, what keeps executives up at night, and where AI and data solutions create the most transformative impact.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic conversations with enterprise clients, uncovering high-value opportunities where AI-driven solutions can transform operations, accelerate decisions, and drive measurable ROI.
  • Partner closely with advisory and architecture teams to shape early-stage opportunities and position customer strategic roadmap and transformation engagements.
  • Own and grow a regional or vertical book of business, building pipeline from the ground up through a combination of executive relationships, partner co-sell motions, and targeted demand generation.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the Microsoft solution area, including AI Business solutions, Data and Analytics, Data Science, AI/ML, security, and Modern development solutions.
  • Actively engage with Microsoft teams at all levels to align strategies and leverage opportunities within their customer base.
  • Proactively build relationships with Microsoft account teams, Industry sellers, and Solution Specialists to originate and accelerate pipeline.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and executive roundtables by delivering compelling presentations that position our capabilities at the intersection of industry expertise and AI innovation.
