About The Position

Schweiger is a leading dermatology practice with a significant national presence. We are seeking a Full-Time Solution Mixing Technician - LPN for our Norwalk, CT office. This role is dedicated to the precise mixing of allergen extracts under indirect supervision of a licensed physician, strictly adhering to established protocols. This is an exclusive role for the preparation of allergen extracts.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a laboratory or clinical setting.
• Familiarity with aseptic techniques and sterile preparation.
• Basic understanding of allergen extracts and immunotherapy.
• Graduate from an LPN education program approved by the respective state Education Department.
• Pass the NCLEX-PN examination.
• Active LPN license in the state working in required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to work independently under indirect supervision.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA & OSHA compliance.
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems.
• Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Excellent patient relations and customer service skills.
• Open availability to work during weekdays.

• Allergy experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare allergen extract mixtures accurately, following standardized recipes and protocols.
• Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to safety and sterility standards.
• Label, package, and store mixed extracts appropriately.
• Document lot numbers, expiration dates, and maintain accurate records.
• Assist in inventory management and ordering of lab supplies.
• Participate in ongoing training to ensure compliance with best practices.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor on an as needed basis.
